Özet:

In this study, it is aimed to design an application that will facilitate statistical analyzes for the concept of biological variation, which is frequently used in order to test the reliability of measurements in the fields of Medicine and Biochemistry and to obtain new reference intervals. In this research, carried out according to the Design and Development research method, in which a product is revealed at the end of the process, theoretical information about the Nested Anova analysis, which constitutes the mathematical infrastructure of biological variation, was given, and then algorithms were developed in Excel VBA in accordance with the mathematical model. Then, macros were created to obtain biological variation parameters according to Fraser's model from the analysis of variance findings. With the help of the obtained application, calculations were made for some data sets whose results are already known, and the results were compared. As a result, it has been seen that the application developed as a result of the research performs the Nested Anova analysis without error, and also correctly calculates the variance components obtained from the Anova table. It is expected that the obtained application will provide convenience to researchers doing research on the subject.
