IBM SPSS 22.00 and SPSS Prosess Macro (v.4.2) programs were used for data analysis and independent sample t test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were applied. As a result of the analyzes, it was observed that the variables related to personal information within the scope of the research had significant differences. At the same time, positive and significant relationships were found between social media addiction, academic procrastination, perceived stress and sleep levels. Positive and significant relationships were found between social media addiction and sleep levels. There was a relationship between father's education level and social media addiction and academic procrastination. There was a positive and significant . v relationship between social media addiction and sub-factors such as subjective sleep quality, sleep disturbance, sleep medication use, habitual sleep activity and daytime dysfunction. However, a negative and significant relationship was found between social media addiction and sleep duration. As a result of mediation model analyses, it is seen that stress, sleep and sleep disorders variables have a mediating effect in the relationship between social media addiction and academic procrastination. In this study, which examined the mediating role of perceived stress and sleep variables in the relationship between social media addiction and academic procrastination, it was also revealed that perceived stress and sleep disorders sub-dimension also had a mediating role. Although the results obtained have the potential to contribute to the relevant literature, they can be supported by more detailed research.
