Abstract:

Afghanistan has a chaotic past due to reasons such as internal conflicts, wars, destructiveness of terrorist organizations and invasions of great powers. As a result of conflicts and wars, it is quite natural that the social and economic life in the country has collapsed and people have decided to migrate due to both life anxiety and poverty and unemployment. Thus, more than a third of Afghan people have experienced migration at least once in their lifetime. Today, as a result of ongoing conflicts, instabilities and turmoil, the people of Afghanistan are defined as "stable immigrants" and the Afghan state is defined as "a country with stable immigration" in every period of its history. The instability in Afghanistan, the intervention of foreign powers, terrorism and bad economic conditions can be seen as the most important reasons for migration from Afghanistan. This study aims to reveal the phenomenon of migration in general, the historical background of Afghan migration and to analyze the reasons of Afghan migration in terms of political, economic and security dimensions in particular.
