ÖZET
Amaç: Şeffaf plak tedavisi son 20 yıl içinde hafif ve orta dereceli dental maloklüzyonlar için sabit ortodontik apareylere alternatif bir tedavi seçeneği haline gelmiştir. Geleneksel ortodontik tedavilere kıyasla daha iyi bir estetik, daha iyi hasta konforu, kolay periodontal ağız bakımı gibi pek çok avantaj sağladığı bildirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada dişsel maloklüzyonu olan vakaların şeffaf plak ile tedavilerinin sunumu planlanmaktadır.
Olgu Sunumu: Hafif ve orta derece çapraşıklığı bulunan 3 hastanın klinik ve radyolojik muayene sonucu elde edilen verileri sonrası hastaların taraması iTero Element 2 (Align Technology) cihazı ile yapılarak hastaların ağız içi mevcut durumu dijital olarak bilgisayar ortamına aktarılmıştır. İnvisalign Photo Uploader aplikasyonu ile ağız içi ve ağız dışı fotoğrafları alınarak ClinCheck tedavi planı oluşturulmak üzere reçeteler oluşturulup Invisalign Technology firmasına gönderilmiştir. Invisalign şeffaf plaklar (Align Technology Inc, Santa Clara, Calif) geldikten sonra ataşman plağının uyumu kontrol edilmiş ve ataşmanlar yapıştırılmıştır. Diş hareketi ilk plağın uygulanmasıyla başlanmıştır. Hastalara 7 gün geçtikten sonra bir sonraki plağa geçmeleri söylenmiştir. 4 veya 6 haftalık sürelerde hastaların kontrolleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Tedavi sonu retansiyon protokolü için hastalara alt ve üst çene sabit retainer yapılarak tedavileri bitirilmiştir.
Sonuç: Hastaların tedavileri ortalama 6 ay ile 9 ay gibi kısa bir sürede tamamlanmıştır. Hastalar tedavi sonunda kabul edilebilir estetik bir profile sahip oldu. Angle sınıf I ilişki ve ideal overjet, overbite elde edildi. Şeffaf plak tedavisi ile hastalara daha iyi estetik, konfor ve ağız hijyeni sağlanmıştır.
ABSTRACT
Objective: Over the last 20 years, using clear aligner as a treatment alternative for mild to modarate dental malocclusions has become increasingly popular. When compared to conventional orthodontic treatments, it reportedly offers various benefits, including improved aesthetics, improved patient comfort, and better periodontal oral hygiene.
Case Report: After the observations of the clinical and radiological evaluations, the dental arches of three patients with mild and moderate crowding were digitally transferred to the computer environment using the iTero Element 2 (Align Technology) scanner. The ClinCheck treatment plan was developed using the Invisalign Photo Uploader tool, which also took intraoral and extraoral pictures and generated prescriptions that were transmitted to Invisalign Technology. The compatibility of the attachment plate was examined once the Invisalign clear aligners (Align Technology Inc, Santa Clara, Calif.) arrived, and the attachments were then bonded. When the first clear aligner was applied, tooth movement started. After seven days, patients were instructed to advance on to the next plate. Four to six weeks were invested examining the patients. The patients underwent fixed treatment with retainers in both the maxilla and mandibula as part of the procedure for treatment retention at the conclusion.
Conclusion: The patients' treatments were completed quickly, on average in 6 to 9 months. At the conclusion of the treatment, the patients' aesthetic profiles were acceptable. The ideal overjet, overbite, and angle class I relationship were achieved. The clear aligner treatment improved the patients' oral hygiene, comfort, and appearance.
