Abstract

Purpose Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) is a pregnancy-specific liver disorder characterized by maternal pruritus and impaired liver function. The objective of the study was to evaluate maternal liver elasticity by acoustic radiation force impulse (ARFI) elastosonography in ICP and to compare it with that in healthy pregnant women.
