Happiness is a combination of variables such as demographic, economic, physical environment and social environment as well as socio-economic status of the country as a debated concept to be defined in the world and our country. The concept of happiness, also expressed as pleasure from life, is also an indication of the quality of life of individuals living in a society. The concept of happiness, the concept of gross national happiness, can be found in the economic literature with Easterlin (1974) paradox. The first one is the prospect of purchasing power, education and income, purchasing power of people living in a particular country, while the second is based on two approaches, namely prosperity level of happiness and prominent attitude of happiness, as well as a prominent indicator of average longevity. The relationship between happiness index and economic growth is examined in our study.
