As an artistic discipline, the animation is the manipulation and
presentation of non-moving objects in a manner causing movement illusion
in the minds of the audience. This presentation takes shape within a sequence
that is mounted based on a pre-established scenario by means of using the
language of motion Picture screen under the topic "Animation Cinema".
Notwithstanding that the researches carried out in this area set forth the direct
relation between the development history of animation with the technological
developments, electronics, optics, along with the emergence of new technical
solutions down the ages, the meaning of this concept following the
interaction with different disciplines have undergone changes in time. In this
research, the "stop-motion" animation technique is examined, making
progress both in the non-animated movie industry and as an independent way
of expression. The majority of stop-motion animation, presented to the
audience in the last century, has been produced either in a short format or for
special effects. Making progress as a cinema discipline, in the beginning, this
technique has become one of the significant partners of a creative industry, as
a field affecting the design processes of technology in time. The case study
analyses of stop-motion animation are included in this study carried out in
this literature survey.
