Özet

Level of dyestuffs and its toxicological effects are increasing in water, soil, and air day by day as a result
of rapidly increasing industrial activities. The dyestuffs in environment is important becaus e of its
detrimental effects. As a result of uncontrolled industrial wastes in natural wetlands, the textile paints that
appear as anticipated can accumulate not only in the mass of water, but also in the structure of wetlands.
Textile dyes that accumulate in their environment can exhibit toxic effects for their vital life. Despite the
fact that azo dyes in textile wastewaters are fragmented, the resulting intermediates (aromatic amines) can
seriously threaten the ecosystem. Waste waters of the textile industry are wastewaters that contain different
impurities (organic matter, heavy metals, dissolved salts, etc.) and require the purification to be released to
the environment at different pHs. Various techniques are used to remove the color of the lacquer, and it is
believed that the adsorption technique has a great potential for industrial applications. The adsorption
studies were carried out with apple shells collected in Muradiye region. The effect of varying
concentrations of dyestuffs and temperature on the adsorption mechanism at pH = 6, one of the
physicochemical properties for malachite green, was investigated. Thus, it was observed that there were
different adsorption behaviors between Malachite green and Apple Shell at pH 6.
