Biography

Dr. Ece Küçükatalay is a Lecturer in the Architectural Restoration Program of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning at Van Vocational School, Van Yüzüncü Yıl University; since 2018, she has been carrying out her academic activities at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of Van Yüzüncü Yıl University under an official assignment. She completedher bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral studies in architecture. Her academic work focuses on cultural heritageconservation, digital documentation methods, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and international heritagepolicies. She conducts research on documenting and enhancing the accessibility of multi-layered heritage systems. Through an interdisciplinary approach, she integrates historical data, theoretical perspectives, andcontemporary technologies, providing original contributions to the field of cultural heritage studies.
