Abstract

Cluster analysis (cluster analysis), unknown groups precisely, units, similar subsets of variables with each other (group, cl ass) is one of multivariate statistical analysis, which helps to separate. With strong mathematical foundation and is a method used in almost all branches of science. This operation generally consists of three parts. Socio-economic development level of the definition of the first part, focused on socio-economic development of indicators and studies. In the second part of the definition of cluster analysis, methods and studies have been expressed. The third section, the practical part of the socio-economic indicators based on data pertaining to the province of East Anatolia region is classified by cluster analysis method mentioned provinces
