In this study, an application was made in the banking sector, which is one of the sectors where target policies are applied most frequently and most intensively, in order to determine the effect of target pressure perception on organizational commitment. For this purpose, questionnaire forms were distributed to 180 bank personnel working in 33 bank branches operating in the central districts of Van, but 156 of them were retrieved. Invalid and incompletely filled questionnaires were eliminated from the 156 questionnaires that could be received, and 144 questionnaires, which were filled in completely and completely, were analysed. The obtained data were subjected to descriptive analysis, explanatory and confirmatory factor analysis, T-test, Anova test, correlation analysis and regression analysis. In the correlation analysis, a negative correlation (-0,153) value was obtained between the target pressure and organizational commitment perceptions of the bank employees; In the regression analysis, the R-square value of the target pressure factor was obtained as 0.023. These results show that 0.2% of the total variance (change) related to the organizational commitment factor can be explained by the target pressure variable. In the full text file to be sent to the congress, all the results obtained in this research will be stated in all details, and the results obtained at the congress will be presented in a more comprehensive way.
