Özet

Acute toxicity of linear alkylbenzene sulfanate (LAS) on fertilized eggs of tarek was determined. Acute toxicity testing was performed for fertilized eggs. Concentrations of 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, and 2.5 mg L-1 of LAS were applied in the test. The study was conducted using 100 fertilized eggs in each of the test groups. The test was carried out with 4 replications. The bioassay was continued for 96 hours at 20.6±0.1 °C. Median lethal concentration (LC50) 96 hours value was calculated as 0.490 (0.214‒0.737) mg L-1 for tarek fertilized eggs. Fertilized eggs of tarek are affected by LAS. The LAS concentration should not exceed 4.9 µg L-1 for fertilized eggs in freshwater environments where the species reproduces.
