İ'câz (the impossibility of reaching the perfection of the Quran) is the challenge of the
Qur'an within the context of the wording in the Quran; this is highly important since it is the evidence of the revelation of the Qur'an by Allah. Although in the Quran this phrase is not pronounced
as explicit statement during the early period of Islam, it is well recognized and has a widespread use.
Although it has various meanings within the context the Qur'an and posseses more than a meaning
apart from its general signification, it signifies the extraordinary eloquence of the Qur'an throughout history. But there are other virtues of the Quran which are evidence of the miracle of the Qur'an.
The article focuses on such a Quranic dimension which is relevant to our century. The article is
questioning the Quran's position in that it can be considered as the greatest miracle.
