Özet

According to the International Committee for Animal Recording (ICAR), which develops standards and guidelines for the identification of animals, traditional identification and identification methods used in livestock are now being replaced by systems such as the electronic and the biometric identification. These methods facilitate the process and provide advantages over the previous ones. These new methods are type of identification methods that are easy to use and integrate with software that can work with and provide software that enables the use of electronic devices and equipment. It is desirable that the requirement of ecological animal husbandry is to show all the natural behaviors of livestock and that the animal welfare should be at a high level. For this reason, the use of biometric identification in ecological animal husbandry may be appropriate in terms of animal welfare. Also, biometric identification in organic stockbreeding will give a different dimension to the habit of keeping records. In the study, biometric identification methods can be evaluated in terms of their usability in ecological animal husbandry and methods.
