In Turkey, injury, a disability and death rate, due to work accidents and occupational injuries, have a
serious number compared to developed countries. Based on this results, the European Union
Occupational health and safety Law No. 6331was enacted, in order to minimize accidents which are
work-related and provide safe working environments, moreover in order to update and adapt the acquis
in business law in force for over 30 years. On the other hand, as well as all over the world, according to
the available studies, the construction sector in Turkey is the one of the sectors with the high estratios.
The purpose of this study, in structure of occupational healt hand safety legislation, the employer and
employee within the scope of assessment.
