Destana Cembelî û Binevşa Narîn yek ji destanên kurdî ya herî navdar e ku li herêma Hekkariyê qewimiye. Wekî gelek destanên kurdî mirov dikare bi hêsanî çand û jiyana kurdên koçer di nav vê destanê de bibîne. Herçiqas mijara destanê evîna di navbera Cembelî û Binevşa Narîn de be jî em gelek edetên kurdan ên cihêreng di destanê de dibînîn yên wekî têkiliyên eşîrî, jiyana zozanan, çand û edetên mîrzadeyan û hwd. Ev destan di heman demê de li gelek cihên cuda yên erdnîgariya kurdan derbas dibe. Ev jî dibe sedem ku em ji Qerejdaxê heya Colemergê wêneyeke berfireh di nav vê destanê de bibînin. Herweha ev destan ji aliyên motîfan ve destaneke dewlemend e. Me di vê xebatê de dê li gor rêbaza Stith Thompson analîza motîfên destana Cembelî û Binevşa Narîn kir û di encamê de jî dît ku ev destan ji aliyê motîfan ve dewlemend e.

The epic of Cembelî and Binevşa Narîn is one of the famous Kurdish epics. As in many Kurdish epics, the culture and life of Kurdish nomads can be seen in this epic. Although the subject of the epic is the love between Cembelî and Binevşa, we see many different Kurdish tradition-related issu- es such as tribal relations, going to the highland, and the life of the mirzades in the epic. At the same time, the plot of the epic takes place in many different parts of the Kurdish geography, and a wide geography stretching from the Karacadağ region to Hakkari is depicted in the epic in question. The epic of Cembelî and Binevşa Narîn is also very rich in terms of motîfs. Although there are different methods for analyzing epics in folklore, in this study, the motîf analysis in the epic of Cembelî and Binevşa Narîn was made according to the method of Stith Thompson. As a result, it has been conc- luded that the epic has a very rich content in terms of motifs.
