Prof. Sedat Yayla

Biography

Sedat YAYLA was born on 10/11/1977 in Van. He completed his primary and secondary education in Van. In 2000, he graduated from the Karadeniz Technical University, Engineering Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Department. He did his military service as a project engineer in Gendarmery Ordnance Main Depot Command between 2001-2002. Between date of 04/01/2002 and 08/30/2002, he worked as a welding engineer in Yozgat-Kirsehir natural gas pipeline which under control by LIMAK Inc. He completed his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering Department in Institute of Sciences in Yuzuncu Yil University between 2002-2005. He completed his doctoral studies in the Cukurova University, Institute of Science,Department of Mechanical Engineering between 2005-2009. He started his career in Yuzuncu Yil University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Mechanical Engineeringas Asst. Prof. İn 2010. He worked on the project called as "Computational Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer Analysis for a Novel Heat Exchanger" in Lehigh University in the United States between June-September 2011. He served as assistant dean of Engineering and Architecture Faculty and head of Mechanical Engineering depermant between 2011-2013. As of 2014, he received the title of associate professor and  As of 2019,  he received the title of professor. As of 2015, he has been serving as the head of the mechanical engineering department and as of 2019, he is the director of the Van vocational school.

               He still has worked in Van Yuzuncu Yil University, Faculty of Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering as a Prof. Dr.
