Scabies is caused by Psoroptes bovis. The most cited causes of the disease are the over crowded accommodation of the animals in the barns, malnutrition and imbalanced feeding (Sargison et al., 1995; Sekin et al., 1998). Trace elements and minerals are of a prominent value in terms of increasing the resistance against the disease in the biological organisms, causing severe clinical conditions. in case of their shortage or excess (Underwood and Suttle, 2001). The aim of this study is to find out the levels of zinc (Zn), copper (Cu) Manganese (Mn) and Magnesium (Mg) in Psoroptes scabiei in cattle.
