Abstract

Food-borne botulism is an acute form of food poisoning that results from ingestion of the toxin produced by Clostridium botulinum. Intoxication classically presents as an acute, symmetrical paralysis. In this study, we report a case of botulism with unilateral paralysis that was confirmed by the mouse inoculation and neutralization method.
