Özet

In this study, it was aimed that determination of soil profiles heavy metals contents on terraces affected by Van Lake. Soil samples were taken from four soil profiles on three different terraces. The relations among soil heavy metal contents and Van Lake water heavy metal contents were researched. Cadmium, nickel, lead and chromium contents of soils and Van Lake water were analyzed. The highest cadmium content was found as 0,097 mg kg-1 in profile 4 –AC horizon, while the lowest cadmium content was in profile1- A1 horizon as 0,047 mg kg-1. The highest nickel, lead and chromium contents were determined as 2,085 mg kg-1, 0,973 mg kg-1 and 2,984 mg kg-1 in profile 3- Bw horizon respectively. The lowest nickel and chromium contents were found as 0,184 mg kg-1 and 0,895 mg kg-1 in profile 1- A1 horizon, while the lowest lead content was in profile 2- C1 horizon as 0,200 mg kg-1. It was determined that heavy metal contents of soil profiles decreased while the distances to lake level increased. On the other hand, generally soil heavy metal contents increased depending on soil depth in soil profiles.
