Abstract

Abstract: Transposition, which is a dental anomaly, is defined as a positional interchange of two adjacent permanent teeth found on the same dental arch. In this case report, we present the outcomes of fixed orthodontic treatment in a patient with unilateral mandibular lateral incisor-canine transposition. Following orthodontic treatment, transposed teeth were placed into their normal anatomical positions on the mandibular dental arch by applying mild orthodontic forces, and smile esthetics was restored with ideal, Angle’s Class I occlusion.
