Green synthesis; it is a biochemical method Nnown for being environmentally friendly and costY effective, maNing nanoparticles more preferred than chemical and physical methods easily. production of nanoparticles with biosynthesis is a simple, less toxic, and environmentally friendly application. Green synthesis of nanoparticles with the use of plant extracts has attracted significant attention as an alternative to physical and chemical methods. silver nanoparticles, which are in the group of metallic naY noparticles and show antibacterial properties, are used in medical, biomedical, cosmetics, and many other fields. the aim of this study is to synthesize silver nanoparticles (ag np/Dt) by green synthesis method by using an endemic species Diplotenia turcica plant extract. and to investigate the total antiY oxidant components of the synthesized nanopartiY cles, the activity of Dna damage prevention and anY timicrobial properties against chard pathogens that cause disease in humans. ag nps obtained as a result of the reaction were characterized by these methods (uv visible spectrophotometer (uvYvis), FourierY transformed infrared spectroscopy (Ftir), xYray diffraction (xrD) scanning electron microscope, and energy diffusion xYray device (semYeDx). Dpph radical extinguishing activity was found to be significant compared to the positive control bha and bht. Dpph radical scavenging activity at 200 μg/ml was found to be 87.88±0.121%. in addition, Dna oxidation damage against oh radicals from h2o2 is observed to be inhibited depending on conY centration. the effect of ag np/Dt solution against pathogens threatening human health is remarNable. it …
