The agricultural sector needs more efficient and sustainable production methods due to global population growth, climate change and environmental concerns. Remote sensing technologies have great potential for the optimization of agricultural practices and are particularly important in fertilization strategies. Remote sensing allows the application of fertilizers in appropriate quantities and at the right time. These technologies increase fertilizer use efficiency and play an active role in reducing labor and economic losses by reducing costs. These technologies increase fertilizer use efficiency and play an active role in reducing labor and economic losses by reducing costs. Remote sensing technologies thus enable more precise and efficient fertilization applications in agriculture. With remote sensing, various properties of soil and plants are observed through satellite, drone and ground-based sensors. These technologies are used to detect factors such as soil moisture, organic matter, plant health and nutrient deficiencies, thus helping to accurately determine fertilization needs. Fertilization plans developed with remote sensing offer a great advantage in terms of reducing environmental pollution and reducing costs by allowing more precise and targeted applications and are important for sustainable agriculture. The use of remote sensing technologies in fertilization applications is essential for sustainable agriculture, considering the benefits provided by these technologies.
