Özet

Big data has become a crucial topic in today's world. Sensitive data such as financial information, personal information, health records, and trade secrets are included in big data. Protecting this data is critical to ensuring users' privacy and security. Furthermore, analyzing big data reveals many useful insights, such as identifying trends, defining patterns, and understanding customer behavior. Cyberattacks can lead to malicious individuals obtaining and exploiting such sensitive data. Therefore, data security is a fundamental component of protection against cyber threats. An effective data security strategy strengthens an organization's defense against cyber threats, ensures the security of sensitive data, and protects personal information. Many countries have legal regulations regarding the protection of personal data, and big data projects must comply with these regulations. Data security measures are essential to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; otherwise, companies may face legal liabilities and serious penalties. Big data security is of great importance both at the corporate and personal levels, and without appropriate measures, data breaches, phishing attacks, and other security threats can be encountered. In this study, iRODS, Globus, and Hadoop technologies are examined in terms of big data security, and their security advantages and challenges are evaluated. In addition, cloud security is also addressed in this study as it is important for storing big data. The evaluation concludes that each technology has different advantages depending on its usage and purpose. It is observed that Hadoop technology is preferred in terms of data volume and performance, Globus technology is preferred for data sharing, and iRODS technology is preferred for data management and security.
