Sarıçam (Pinus sylvestris L.) odununda farklı ahşap koruyucu yağların renk ve parlaklık üzerine etkileri

Özet

Bu çalışmada, sarıçam (Pinus sylvestris L.) odunu yüzeylerine farklı özelliklerde hazırlanmış çeşitliahşap koruyucu yağlar (tik yağı, tung yağı, sauna yağı, saman yağı, mutfak gereçleri yağı, masif tezgâhyağı, teras yağı ve parke yağı) uygulanmıştır. Uygulama sonrası, ahşabın parlaklık değerleri ve renközellikleri CIELAB renk ölçüm sistemi kullanılarak L*, a*, b*, C* ve ho parametreleri üzerindendeğerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, yağların ahşap malzemenin açık tonlarını koyulaştırdığı (L*değerinde azalma), kırmızı (a*) ve sarı (b*) tonlarını belirgin şekilde artırdığı ve renk doygunluğunda(C*) artış sağladığı yönündedir. Ton açısı (ho) değerlerinde ise genel olarak anlamlı bir değişimgözlenmemiştir. Özellikle çalışmada kullanılan teras yağı, renk parametreleri üzerinde en yüksekartışları sağlarken, masif tezgâh yağı ve parke yağı doğal görünümün korunmasına imkân tanımıştır. Bubulgular, sarıçam odununda istenen görsel etkiye göre uygun yağ türü seçiminin önemini ortayakoymaktadır.

In this study, various wood preservative oils with different properties (teak oil, tung oil, sauna oil, hayoil, kitchenware oil, solid countertop oil, terrace oil, and parquet oil) were applied to the surfaces ofScots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) wood. After application, the gloss values and color properties of thewood were evaluated using the CIELAB color measurement system using the L*, a*, b*, C*, and hoparameters. The results indicated that the oils darkened the light tones of the wood (decreased L* value),significantly increased red (a*) and yellow (b*) tones, and increased color saturation (C*). Nosignificant changes were generally observed in the tone angle (ho) values. Specifically, the terrace oilused in the study provided the highest increases in color parameters, while the solid countertop oil andparquet oil allowed the natural appearance to be preserved. These findings highlight the importance ofselecting the appropriate oil type for the desired visual effect of Scots pine wood.
