Özet

Reduced graphene oxide (rGO)-supported PtAg nanoparticles with Pt/Ag atomic ratios of 50:50, 60:40, 70:30,

80:20, and 90:10 were synthesized via NaBH4 reduction and evaluated for glycerol electrooxidation in 1 M KOH

containing 0.1 M glycerol. X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron

microscopy coupled with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy

(XPS), and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) characterized their structural, morphological,

and compositional properties. Pt90Ag10/rGO exhibited the highest anodic peak current density (16.46 mA

cm􀀀ge2o) and mass activity (152.4 mA mg􀀀Pt1Ag) at 50 mV s􀀀 1, with the lowest charge-transfer resistance

(8.75 ± 1.38 Ω) at 0 V versus Ag/AgCl. Lower Pt 4f binding energies and a higher metallic Pt fraction supported

Pt-Ag electronic interaction. Chronoamperometry revealed the highest initial current for Pt90Ag10/rGO, whereas

Pt50Ag50/rGO maintained the highest residual current at 1000 s. Overall, Pt90Ag10/rGO exhibited the highest

peak activity under the experimental conditions investigated.
