There is examined current state of shaft construction and are recommended efficient schemes under technical and economic comparisons of variants. Currently for timbering of vertical shafts' wall there are used bulk concrete, erected in mobile sheet steel forms of various constructions, with lowering of concrete mix through pipes from surface. Applications facilities of shaft technology are very large. Vertical shafts can have bore from 4 up to 8.5 m, according to depth - up to 300 m, from 300 up to 700 m, more than 700 m, with depth up to 1600 m. There are five flowsheets for sinking of shafts: successive, parallel, parallel and panel, matched and of sinking with test hole.
