Özet

The main purpose of this study is to determine the trends and relationships regarding Gen Z in tourism. In this study, a bibliometric network analysis was performed on the articles published with keywords Generation Z and tourism in WoS database. In this context, 61 articles published between 2015 and 2021 were investigated. During this investigation, the VOSViewer software was used. The distribution of publications by countries was mapped using GIS. This study revealed that tourism studies are gradually placing a greater interest on Gen Z. The network structure for the keywords used at least twice in studies for Gen Z and tourism is grouped under 6 clusters. Given the distribution of the articles by countries, North America, a major part of the Europe, South Asia, and Oceania stand out as the areas with most studies conducted on Gen Z. The emphasis on this generation among the tourism studies in developing countries was found to be lesser.
