As explained in detail above, classroom management in secondary education
is a process with many different dimensions. While the teacher carries out
teaching activities with students in the classroom environment, it should not
be forgotten that different factors in the background affect this process. The
social environment from which students come, family and guardians, school
administration, guidance services at school, physical environment and equipment
of the classroom, and the competence and attitudes of the teacher can be listed
as factors that directly and indirectly affect classroom management. In this
respect, it would be wrong to consider classroom management as a process that
takes place between the teacher and the students within four walls. For the
stated reasons, in order for teachers' classroom management to be successful
and to achieve educational goals, teachers working in secondary education must
be knowledgeable about the different factors of the process and take into account
the specified dimensions/factors in classroom management. If this is done, good
communication with students will be ensured and young people will be well
prepared for the future. Otherwise, the classroom environment
may become an unattractive and undesirable environment rather than an
environment where educational goals are achieved for teachers and students.
