Abstract

If G is a connected graph with vertex set V, then the Ediz eccentric connectivity index of G, (E)xi(c)(G), is defined as ()Sigma(v is an element of V) S(v)/ec(v) where S(v) is the sum of degrees of all vertices adjacent to vertex v and ec(v) is its eccentricity. In this paper we investigate some mathematical properties of the Ediz eccentric connectivity index.
