Climate change is listed as the biggest disaster threatening the world in today's conditions. The effects of climate change are felt in all sectors, all living beings, and every point of the universe. However, the greatest harm of these effects is more intense on freshwater resources, which are the source of life for living beings and an indispensable element for ecosystems. Global warming, which causes climate change, reveals the results of the decrease and pollution of freshwater resources. Therefore, the effects of climate change on freshwater resources should be clearly known, and effective water use policies should be put forward to reduce these effects in the climate crisis. Thus, this study, which examines the effects of climate change on freshwater resources through the World assessment on Türkiye scale, aims to bring the ways of effective water use in the climate crisis to the literature in the light of various solution suggestions and action plans.
