Özet

For evaluation of the impact of different materials and application methods of endocrown restorations on the stress distribution in lithium disilicate reinforced glass ceramic endocrown, glass ceramic crown and glass-fiber endocore, glass ceramic crown and PEEK endocore, and a novel PEEK-integrated design in the pulp chamber CAD/CAM applied endocore, an intact tooth model was evaluated by finite element analysis (FEA)using SolidWorks/CosmosWorks software, assuming all materials were homogeneous and isotropic. A 300 N load was applied from occlusal contact points. Results were presented as tensile stresses within color graphics. Maximum tensile stresses were concentrated in the mesial and distal cervical root surfaces (5.52–6.69 MPa). Finite element analysis (FEA) revealed that the PEEK-integrated models exhibited the most similar stress distribution pattern to the intact tooth, particularly reducing stress values at the cavity floor (0.083–0.167 MPa). PEEK-integrated models (glass ceramic crown and PEEK endocore, and novel PEEK-integrated design in the pulp chamber CAD/CAM applied endocore) may represent a promising biomimetic restorative strategy for endodontically treated molars.
