Abstract

AIM: Caries and discolored restorations always effect anterior aesthetic negatively. Composite resins are the first imaginable options at that situations.

CASE REPORTS: 25 year-old female patient was referred to Van Yuzuncu Yil University, Fcaulty of Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry clinic due to caries at 21st tooth, discolored and unacceptable old restoration at 22nd tooth and profund dentin caries at 24th tooth. color selection was done via composite button technique. Rubberdam isolation was done to the related teeth and preparations were realised. Calcium hydroxide was applied to 22nd and 24th teeth and covered with GIC. %37 orthophosphoric acide was applied to 21st and 22nd teeth. Ring matrix bands were used to build aproximal walls at 21st and 22nd teeth. Universal bond was selected as an adhesive system. For building an optimal contactsof 24th tooth, palodent ring matrix system was used. For polishing, aliminum oxide discs and Enhance Pogo Complete kit were preffered. For final finishing, Clearfil Twist Dia was used.

RESULTS: Both functional and aesthetical restorations of anterior and posterior resgions could be easily done with composite resins.
