Abstract

In this study, the relationship between technology choice and firm size is examined using ordered propit model for Turkish Manufacturing Industries. For this porpuse, the data set for the latest year 2013 has been gathered from Turkish Statistical Institue. According to the results, as firm size increases, firms tend to choice different kind of technologies in order to escalate their level of competitive fringe. These findings also support size-wage premium hyptohesis in which it is asserted that there is a positive correlation between firm size and wages.
