Özet

Seven novel thioxo-pyrimidine derivatives not previously reported in the literature were synthesized via a Biginelli-type multicomponent reaction. These synthesized compounds were subsequently reacted with propargyl bromide under base-catalyzed conditions, yielding eight novel thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidine derivatives not previously described in the literature. In this step, the reaction conditions were optimized to improve the efficiency of the base-catalyzed transformation. The structures of all synthesized compounds were elucidated by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and LC–MS/MS analyses.
