Abstract

The kinetics of oxygen adsorption on a n-type semiconductor like ZnO obeys normally a logarithmic rate law. But in cases when the ionosorbed form of oxygen, O-, is in excess on the semiconductor surface the logarithmic rate law cannot be applied.
