Özet

Today, people are exposed to some physical, mental and work stress while performing their profession. As a result of this stress, burnout syndrome emerges. Burnout causes failure, loss of energy, physical and emotional problems in people. There are some stages, dimensions, and indicators of burnout that occur in the form of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and low personal accomplishment. Professionals who perform the accounting profession in their daily work experience burnout syndrome because the accounting profession is stressful and overworked. With this study, a questionnaire was applied to measure the burnout levels of accounting professionals. With this study, it was investigated whether the members of the profession differ in terms of gender and professional experience in the dimensions of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal success, and the results of the research are included.
