Özet

Bateman equations govern the growth and decay of isotopes within a radioactive series, allowing prediction of their respective abundances at any given time mathematically. In this work, we consider nuclear reactions involving cyclic chains of heavy isotopes in burnup problem. We define Bateman equations with piecewise constant argument to model this problem theoretically. We solve these equations using Laplace transform method and obtain recursive solution. Then inductively we acquire explicit solution of these equations.
