Abstract

The genus Inocybe (Fr.) Fr. (Inocybaceae, Agaricales) is a prominent genus of lamellate macrofungi. The most of Inocybe
species have toxic properties and they are generally characterized by brown, lilac and sometimes purplish coloured basidiomata,
squamose to fibrillate pileus and stipe, brownish lamellae, brown spore print and the growing mode on soil. Some
members have cystidia with crystalline and ornamentations at the apex. While several species have smooth basidiospores,
many species are characterized by gibbous or nodulose basidiospores.
Inocybe sublilacina Matheny & A.Voitk was collected from Narman (Erzurum) district and recorded for the first time
from Turkey. Inocybe the ectomycorrhizal large genus is represented with more than 2000 species worldwide and reached
to 86 species in Turkey with addition of this new record.
