A field study was conducted to investigate eriophyid mites associated with olive trees in north Cyprus. The surveys were carried out in 32 different localities in July 2011 and in January 2013. Two species were recorded from the samples Aceria oleae (Nalepa, 1900), previously recorded in Cyprus, and Tegolophus hassani (Keifer, 1959) (Acari: Prostigmata: Eriophyidae), a new record for the island of Cyprus.
