Özet

Ozalp District is a district of Van Province in Eastern Anatolian Region Van Area. In this study, ownership status of agricultural lands, parcel size in Ozalp and herbal farming in the district have been examined. While almost all farmer families have farming land, it is seen that farming lands are small seized and sectional. Average height in the district is higher and continental climate is available. Owing to the climate conditions, number of the farming herbs is low. In the district, cereals such as wheat and barley and forage crops such as clover and trefoil are known as main agricultural products. Areas for industrial plants and vegetable farming in the district are very narrow.
