Ülkemizde yerli diziler 1970’li yıllardan günümüze içerik ve yapım açısından büyük bir
gelişim göstermiş, 2000’li yıllardan itibaren de yurtdışındaki temsilimizin önemli araçlarından biri
haline gelmiştir. Geniş izleyici kitlelerine ulaşarak popüler kültür
ü yansıtan ve yeniden üreten bu tür
yayınlar, kültürel normların sorgulanmasına imkân sunan görsel anlatı alanlarıdır.
2024 yılında yayın hayatına başlayan
İnci Taneleri
dizisi hem senaryosu hem de karakterleri
ile izleyicilerin dikkatini çekmiş ve ilk fragmandan itibaren özellikle
Dilber
karakterinin rolü ve dansları
sosyal medya platformlarında yoğun bir şekilde tartışılmıştır.
Bu çalışma, halen üzerine çalıştığımız, bu dizideki dans sahnelerinde kadın bedenin nasıl
temsil edildiğini inceleyen yüksek lisans tezinden üretilmiştir
.
X, Instagram, Youtube vd. sosyal medya
platformları ile dizi forum siteleri temel dijital kaynaklarımızdır. Bu platformlarda yürütülen dans
sahnelerine yönelik tartışmalar tematik bir sınıflandırmaya tabi tutulacak ve eleştirel bir perspektifle
değerlendirilecektir. Dizinin hem içeriğine hem de yarattığı ‘trend’lere yönelik gündemler, kadına
yönelik şiddet, pavyon kültürü, kadın bedeninin tems
ili gibi başlıklar ekseninde değerlendirilecektir.

In our country, domestic
television series have shown great development in terms of content
and production from the 1970s to the present. With the development of the new local production
companies having strong international connections, those series became popular in some countri
es in
the Middle East and the Balkans. Therefore in the 2000’s, our popular television series became one of
the important tools of our country’s representation abroad. Such broadcasts, which reach large audiences
both reflect and reproduce popular culture.
They are visual narrative areas that allow cultural norms to
be questioned and challenged. Their increasing coverage of music and dance enables researchers to
reflect on the role of these arts in popular culture.
The series
İnci Taneleri
, which began broadcasting in 2024, attracted the audience with both
its script and characters. From the first trailer, the role and dances of the character
Dilber
have been
discussed intensively on social media platforms. Her profession as a woman dancer in a nightclub
context, her role in society, her flamboyant costumes and personal dancing style, the traditional roots of
this dance genre, and the cultural contex
t of the dancing space created debates in mass media. Moreover
the ne
w ‘trends’ that her costumes and dancing style created in daily life have been discussed for months.
This study is part of a master thesis that we are still working on, examining how the female
body is represented in the dance scenes of this series. Our basic digital resources will consist of media
platforms such as X, Instagram, YouTube, etc., and TV ser
ies’ forum sites. The agenda regarding both
the content of the series and the ‘trends’ it created will be discussed and examined on the axis of topics
such as violence against women, nightclub culture, and the representation of the female body.
