Abstract

In this study, the K shell intensity ratios K-beta/K-alpha have been experimentally determined for the elements Cr, Mn, Fe, and Co. Measurements have been carried out at 8.735 keV excitation energy by using secondary excitation method. K X-rays emitted by samples have been counted by a Si (Li) detector with 160 eV resolutions at 5.9 keV. The measured values were compared with the calculated theoretical values. The obtained values are in good agreement with the calculated values.
