Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’i doğru okumak ve anlamak için Arapçanın
temel kurallarını belirleyen nahiv ilmini iyi bilmek gerekir. Zira nahiv ilmi
bilinmeden belâgat ve fesâhat gibi birçok yönden mu‘ciz olan Kur’ân’ın tam
anlaşılması mümkün değildir. Bundan dolayı âlimler, nahiv ilminin temel kurallarını
ortaya koymuşlardır. Böylece nahiv ilmi, Kur’ân’ın anlaşılmasında daha ilk
dönemlerden itibaren önemli bir konuma sahip olmuş ve bu alanda filolojik
nitelikli birçok müstakil tefsir çalışması yapılmıştır. Nahiv ilminin en önemli
konularından biri sıfattır. Çünkü sıfatın cümle içerisindeki konumu ve manaya
katkısı gibi önemli birçok işlevi bulunmaktadır. Sıfatın cümle içerisindeki bu önemli
işlevleri, Kur’ân’ın doğru anlaşılmasında da büyük bir role sahip olmaktadır.
Zira Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’i anlamada sıfatın tahsîs, tavdîh, medh, zem, te’kîd, terahhum,
mübâlağa, taʻmîm ve
tafsîl gibi pek çok işlevi vardır. Kur’ân’ı anlamada
sıfatın söz konusu önemli işlevlerinden dolayı çalışmamızda öncelikle sıfat
kavramına kısaca temas edilmiştir. Ardından sıfatın temel hükümleri ve sıfatın
çeşitleri ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra da Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’i anlamada sıfatın
tahsîs, tavdîh, medh, zem, te’kîd, terahhum, mübâlağa, taʻmîm ve
tafsîl gibi önemli işlevleri ele alınmıştır.

In order to read and understand the Qur'an correctly, it
is necessary to know the science of nahw, which determines the basic rules of Arabic. Because, it
is not possible to fully understand the Qur'an, which is unique in many ways
such as rhetoric and fluency, without knowing the knowledge of nahw. For this
reason, scholars have revealed the basic rules of nahw science. Thus, the
science of nahw has had an important position in the understanding of the
Qur'an from the very first periods, and many philological independent exegesis
studies have been carried out in this field. One of the most important subjects
of the science of nahw is adjective. Because the adjective has many important
functions such as its position in the sentence and its contribution to the
meaning. These important functions of the adjective in the sentence have a
great role in the correct understanding of the Qur'an. Because, in the sense of
the Qur'an, the adjective has many important functions such as privatization,
explanation, praise, slander, reinforcement, pity, exaggeration, generalization
and detailing. Due to the important functions of the adjective in understanding
the Qur'an, first of all, the concept of adjective was briefly touched upon in
our study. Then, the basic provisions of the adjective and the types of
adjective are discussed. Then, the important functions of the adjective in the
sense of the Qur'an such as privatization, explanation, praising, vilifying,
reinforcement, pity, exaggeration, generalization and detailing are discussed.
