Abstract

Tourism and hospitality industry is one of the most important income generation sector and plays an important role in the global economy, representing more than half of service exports in countries like Turkey, Greece, Spain, or Mexico, and covering more than 3% of global GDP. As world become more digital hospitality industry and tourism become more competitive. Today competitiveness is a key role for development and sustainability especially for the services industry. Innovative and digital industries have to compete more than any other sectors. Increasing adaptability of the digital trends on tourism and hospitality forces organizations manage to create digital solutions to improve their sales, brand image and awareness. Travel and tourism industry GDP represents more than 3% of global GDP, with a share of 2.7 trillion dollars in 2016 it was larger than the automotive manufacturing and chemical manufacturing sectors. The development of digital business provides managers the necessary tools that allow their organizations to expand into new markets, enhance stakeholder’s interaction and lower the costs. Digitalization stimulates the global and local competitiveness of tourism and hospitality industry, digital business models are now critical for any major organization. This paper gives brief about the role of “Digitalization” on hospitality network regarding to develop tourism and innovative change of all type of tourism businesses. Within research process, interviews with 10 GMs in local Hospitality companies, NGOs, University, Municipality, Governorate and Public Institutions have been interviewed regarding to find out their perspective on digital tourism and innovation perspective on digitalization in the tourism industry. Research shows that digital companies has strong networking ability as an awareness raising tool can develop people minds on saving time, employment, and focusing innovative sustainable tourism development. This research suggested digitalization as the way that innovative tourism development and sustainable tourism networking in tourism industry.
