Özet

The development and changes i the 21 st century bring about significant in the field of education and training, as in all areas of life. Analytical thinking is considered as a part of the problem- solving process needed to prepare individuals for a chaotic living and working environment in the 21 st century. Analytical thinking reflects the individual’s analytical thinking characteristics of identifying similarities and differences between information and dividind it into meaningful categories. In this regard, analytical thinking is intelligence, and analytical intelligence is the ability to synthesize any information, evaluate, judge, compare and find contradictions. Analytical thinking; ıt is the understanding of handling situations, practices, problems, statements, ideas, theories, argument, problem, statements, ideas, theories, solving problem and seeking truth. In this context, the aim oof this study is to reveal the orientation and current trent of postgraduate studies on “ Analytical Thinking and Education” in Turkey between 2020- 2024. Document review, one of the gualitative research methods, was used to compile the research data. The literatUre review was conducted at the higher education council publications ans documentation deperment thesis center (YÖK). Postgrduate theses published between 2020 and 2024 were included in the study. As a result of the literatüre review, the sudies were exained one by one and eliminated in accordance with the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, and as a result of this systematic review, a total of 68 studies were included in the study. In addition to using the “ Analysis Coding Form” as a data collection tool in the research, findings regarding the publication type of the studies, publication year, method and model/  design, sample/ study group, data collection tools, and the university where they were published are included. Looking at the result of research; It was determined that the most postgraduate studies were published in 2024. It was concluded that in postgraduate research, qualitative data collection method was used the most and mixed mothod was preferred the least. It was concluded that socondary school student wete mostly preffered as a sample, and the least amount of work was done on ad ministrators and academics. It was concluded that Kafkas University and Zonguldak University publisned the most postgraduate studies in the field of “ analytical thinking and education” ın addtion, it was concluded that between 2020 and 2024, research onthe relevant subjent increased continuously and there were more master’s theses and dotoral studies.
