Abstract

One of the periodicals that began to be published early in the Second Constitutional Era was the Bagce (Bahce) journal. Bahce was a continuation of the periodical titled Cocuk Bagcesi, which was published during the years 1904-1905. Mostly young writers contributed to the periodical, but it is interesting to observe that most of these contributors later became significant figures in the world of culture and literature. In this regard it can be argued that Bahce played an important role in educating future authors. This study intends to introduce Bahce, which appeared as a significant journal during the Second Constitutional Era.
