Özet

In the light of technological developments, architecture, engineering and construction industries have started to use BIM (Building Information Modelling) tools, which allow not only the modelling of structures, but also the processes that guide these structures during and after implementation. BIM tools can model building designs according to indoor quality, sun direction and insulation, and local microclimate characteristics. It can also model the performance of sanitary sewer networks, dams, bridges and highways in simulated conditions. BIM tools offer various technological advantages in the landscape architecture profession. Many existing BIM packages can be used to model landscape processes. However, since overly complex software tools will lead to a decrease in creativity, certain parameters must be followed. Within the scope of the study, a model has been developed in order to be a base for landscape project studies with the support of BIM vehicles on an area of approximately 32.000 m2, covering the close surroundings of the Faculty of Engineering, located in the Van YYU central Zeve Campus. In the development of this model, Vectorworks Landmark software was used in the method content, and in the method steps consisting of four stages; plant characteristics and plant species, green area information, urban furniture used, building information, hard floor and parking area information and properties were revealed in detail. An information system has been created for the new planning and design studies to be carried out with this developed model. It has been suggested that this system should be handled and disseminated differently for each building on the entire campus.
