In this study, it is aimed to examine the organizational commitment of fitness trainers in terms of
demographic variables. 50 volunteer fitness trainers operating in the province of Van participated in the
quantitative study. Data were collected with Allen and Meyer's (1991) three-dimensional organizational
commitment scale. The organizational commitment scale, which consists of 22 statements in total,
consists of three dimensions: affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative
commitment. The data were analyzed with the Shapiro-Wilk test and it was determined that the data set
did not show a normal distribution. In statistical analyses, the data were analyzed with non-parametric
tests. Descriptive statistics, Mann Whitney U Test were used in the analysis. The significance level was
accepted as p<0.05. According to demographic characteristics such as gender, workplace experience and
general work experience of the fitness trainers participating in the study; It was determined that there was
no difference in their emotional, continuance and normative commitments. As a result, organizational
commitment of fitness trainers does not change according to demographic characteristics.
