Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı İvesi koyunlarının aşım ve doğumdaki ağırlıklarının dişi kuzu doğum ve sütten kesim ağırlığı üzerine etkisinin araştırılmasıdır. Çalışmanın hayvan materyalini 2, 3, 4 ve 5 yaşlı toplam 117 koyun ve bunlardan doğan dişi kuzular oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada koyunların aşım ve doğumdaki ağırlığı, kuzu doğum, sütten kesim ve altıncı ay ağırlığı sırasıyla 50.46±0.651, 56.91±0.698, 4.62±0.066, 20.69±0.426 ve 30.25±0.505 kg olarak saptanmıştır. Ele alınan özelliklerden koyun aşım ağırlığı, doğumdaki ağırlığı, kuzu doğum ağırlığı, sütten kesim ağırlığı ve altıncı ay ağırlığı arasında pozitif önemli korelasyonlar bulunmuştur (P<0.05; P<0.01). Aşım ağırlığı ile kuzu doğum ağırlığı (P<0.05), 6. ay ağırlığı arasında (P<0.01), Ananın doğumdaki ağırlığı ile 6. ay ağırlığı (P<0.01) üzerine önemli bir etkiye sahip olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Sonuç olarak ananın aşım ve doğumdaki ağırlığının kuzuların doğum ve 6. ay ağırlığı üzerine pozitif yönde etkilediği bu maksatla ananın aşım ve gebelik döneminde bakım beslemeye gereken önemin verilmesi önem arz etmektedir.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of breeding and birth weights of Awassi sheep on the birth and weaning weight of female lambs.The animal material of the study consisted of a total of 117 sheep aged 2, 3, 4 and 5 years old and female lambs born from them.In the study, the weight of sheep at breeding and birth, lamb birth, weaning and sixth month weight were determined as 50.46±0.651, 56.91±0.698, 4.62±0.066, 20.69±0.426 and 30.25±0.505 kg, respectively. Positive and significant correlations were found between sheep overshoot weight, weight at birth, lamb birth weight, weaning weight and sixth month weight (P<0.05; P<0.01). It was found that there was a significant effect between the breeding weight and the lamb birth weight (P<0.05), the 6th month weight (P<0.01), and the maternal weight at birth and the 6th month weight (P<0.01). As a result, it is important to give importance to the care and feeding of the mother during the breeding and pregnancy period, for this purpose that the mother's weight at breeding and birth has a positive effect on the birth and 6th month weight of the lambs.
